a. Daily spark Critical thinking: 3 sisters
went out to dinner and had a bill of $30, and each of them paid $10. When the
waiter came to collect the money, he realized that the bill was $25 instead of
30. Instead of giving the sisters back all of their change, the waiter took
$2.00 for himself and gave the sisters back the other $3, one dollar each. At
the end of the night, each sister paid $9. 9 x 3 + 27, + the $2 that the waiter
took = $29. But what happened to the extra dollar? Try to figure it out!
b. In Shakespeare Daily Spark I studied
some of his soliloquies. My assignment was to try and think of some ways that
modern movies and plays use the same idea as soliloquies.
c. A Soliloquy is when an actor on stage is
alone and telling the audience the characters thoughts. Soliloquies are not
consistently used in modern entertainment but I came up with a few similar
devices used in modern movies and plays that carry the same idea as
Soliloquies. Some of those devices include songs, like “The Wizard and I” from “Wicked”
Speeches, like in “A Chorus Line” Voice
over’s and letter writing like in “The
Princess Diaries”

Doctor Quack! How about we go to India and roller-skate on the Ocean in
February with our bathing suits on? I love piggy-toe pies! Lock me up in a room
full of mangos, kiss a marmoset on the head, try swimming in a bathtub full of
